FlashPro dyno tune by CivicRSA

Post by Neo1 » Mon Feb 01, 2010 3:50 pm

Hi All FN2 owners with FlashPro or with FP on order

We need to arrange a dyno tuning session on a Saturday and/ Sunday and import our resident FlashPro boffin, CivicRSA, from East London. We need to get at least 6 FN2's at a central location in Johannesburg to foot the bill for his time, accomodation (1 night) and the dyno rental cost. A workshop with an accurate, properly serviced and calibrated dynomometer would be preferred. Because each vehicle is different it is imperative that we get the FP tuned for your vehicle and in the process, create a base-map for e.g. Injen induction+ FP.

If you're interested please drop me a PM or add your name to this list:
1. (Neo1)- Noel
2. FN2-R

My time will be donated to the guys that have purchased their FP from Joel.
And hopefully we can get someone to help out with a dyno at a very good price.
If you guys have any contacts it will be great.

I really tried to make it. But as Murphy would have it, I had 4-different events and "do's" I had to attend to. So I unfortunately missed it. But we can arrange for another day as the forum takes off and we have more members buying the FlashPro that wants it tuned by our own internal pro.

Here's some feedback at last on the day in JHB.
I left East London on Friday 26th Feb and arrived in JHB midnight. We got up at 6am and we all met at TRB Performance at 8am.
Tuning started a 9am and I had 6 hours to do 4 Type-R's. Tuning went very well, it is quite amazing how different the motors needed to be setup for altitude.
Here are some dyno results

Awesome guys, well done on the day, nice gains, lots of smiles. :w00t:
Wish I could have been there.

@ Shabs - Why did your car's pre-tune dyno run fall off from 3500 to 5000rpm? :hmmm:

@ Neo1 - Very nice gains over stock, do you mind if I ask what your mod list looks like? :cylon:

Cheers
