Hi,

Is Flashpro specific to the FN2? I have ordered a CR-Z and would love to have this installed - is it possible?

In addition, will the app run on an apple laptop? I understand that we need to create the logs, and then the maps will be tweaked accordingly.

Regards

*EDIT*

Disregard the below, I see this has arrived on the Hondata website: http://hondata.com/flashpro_cr-z.html

I'm sure FRM will be able to get us some local pricing as soon as it's available :yahoo: :yahoo:  .

@Chris, how can one check an ECU part number to see if it's covered by any of the currently supported model ranges, or if we're going to need to organise for an SA ECU to be sent to Hondata?

----

Unfortunately FlashPro doesn't work on a CR-Z yet, though I've seen mention of it here and there which seem to indicate it may be available one day (hoping!).

The software and drivers are Windows only unfortunately.

Congrats on the CR-Z though, awesome little car. :)

HondaBeast I would like you to email me directly about this. At the moment the South African CR-Z is not supported.
Once you get your car I will be able to discuss this further.

Are there K20 ECU's that cannot accept the Flashpro?
Any American or Japanese ecu's?

I might need this soon

Hi. Why would you want an ecu that cannot except a flash pro. When you say K20 there are many different car models. All from 2002-2012 can you be model specific?

I'm planning a K swap into a other body and i don't know what ECU I'm getting with the kit it just says " Includes swapECU-K"
They do offer a K-Pro upgrade on the ecu tho if that means anything?

It will more than likely be a RSX ecu. My advice is take the K-Pro ecu.

Really? it's a extra $800 and i'm going to use the car N/A as a daily drive
Won't it be overkill?

My thoughts exactly, they willing to send me the stock ECU with the immobilizer removed but i wanted a bit more so the Flash Pro was my first thought

$800 for Kpro is not bad. It's normally $999.
You won't be sorry having an ecu that you can actually adjust.

I know the features guy, I have a Neptune ECU in my Civic which is also fully adjustable
The CRX i'm building i'd prefer to be normal with a bit a spice

Can the Flash Pro be done to it? and whats the price?

Technically it would only work if i used the FN2 ECU on the DC5 engine?

The wiring would be very complicated and expensive. FN2 uses DBW and a canbus system so your dash, speedo etc would not work. You need a K20A2 wire harness and Kpro
